Okay we finally got the computer back! We have a new gig of memory and a fresh hard drive and additional external hard drive.10,000 photos have a tendency of slowing a computer down to a halt. And then if you throw in a couple of viruses from face book it takes 10 days before your computer gets back to you. Here is just a quick look at the last two weeks Uncle John was home for a visit,Tabor had a scrimmage and we had some great seat a the Minnesota Viking /Steelers preseason game. We spend a night at a hotel close to the dome and enjoyed a kiddie (oops) water park and hot tub.

Today Tabor & Mom came home with a surprise. A new 40 inch LCD TV and the boyz set it all up before Dad got home from work! We should of had this the night our MN Twins beat the Yankees and Michael Phillips won his 11Th gold. As you can see we have smiles all around.

BACK TO SCHOOL BEAUTIES!!

Well, we've made it through another summer. This one was particularly difficult. We moved. The kids didn't really know anybody, and I didn't sign them up for much to do because I didn't know what was going on in this area. They were all excited for their first day of school. Shay is in 7th, Derek-5th, Kevin and Kinsey are in 2nd. After some initial back to school adjusting I'm sure we'll be in for a great year!

Summer is over let the season of FOOTBALL begin

The boyz have been busy every day picking garden produce. Dalton is holding a 8lbs. cauliflower head. Tabor has been getting these huge egg plant. By the way we are going to enjoy a pan of egg plant Parmesan on Sunday. Tanner has been getting plenty of summer squash and broccoli and can you believe it he is sick of eating peas.

ANNUAL MAYBERRY COUSIN CAMPOUT

For the past 8 years or so all of my Mom's siblings and their children (and now grandchildren) have had an annual cousin campout. Children 8 years and older are invited to come with their parents to enjoy camping, hiking, campfire testimony meetings, early morning devotionals, etc. We have never been able to attend due to living out of state, or scheduling problems. WELL...this year we did it. Steve took Shay, Derek and our nephew Taylor, while I stayed in St. David with Kevin and Kinsey (they're still 7). Here are some pics showing how much fun they had..what a great tradition. Next year we can ALL go

FUN WITH HAIR

We found these really cute blogs that teach you how to do cute hair styles...we've been experimenting. Here are some of our outcomes....not too bad for the first time. Shay was taking pictures of her own hair....not a great shot...but you can sort of see.

She Passed Me!!!

I've suspected this for awhile now, but we officially measured today.
My 12 year old has passed me up. My official measurement 55 3/4 inches and hers...57 1/4!!! I don't think she's done yet either. WEIRD

Saturday afternoon we surprised the boyz with a trip to the HHH Dome to see the Twins take on the Indians. We got to the dome by 4:30 so the boys could see batting practice. We ran into our favorite teacher from C-T , Bruce Fingerson and his son Patrick. We made to signs we hope made T.V. The first one was Circle us Bert we are the Elliott Boyz from Nicollet and the other one said " Hey Bert say HI to my Great Grandpa Zimney in Fargo,ND" . We had good seats with Gomez in front of us all night. We didn't get to see in fabulous plays but we had great time. Humm I wonder if there is a Vikings game in our future boys?

Friday night we went to the Vikings training camp where they had a Punt-Pass and Kick competition. The boyz also got to meet Victor the new mascot. Last year the big talk was Adrian Peterson this year its Farve going to be a Viking or NOT?

We had a whopper of a storm roll threw the area this week. It finds the boys spending days picking up branches and raking the yard. Tabor shot a photo of the hail and yes it was that dark at 8 a.m. in the morning. We received close to 2 inches of rain and wind guest over 60mph. The electricity went out for about 3 hours. They even had to cancel 2 Viking training camps practice because the wind tore the tents around on campus. It did a number on the garden and we all know how Mom feels about her garden.
